More press for WWE lawsuit, Interview with Parker, more on new Knockouts, 2016 PPVs set, Garcia update, and Questions on WWE firing Punk, Kofi's chest, Brock blading, Heyman's future, and recent lawsuits

Huffington Post had a doctor discuss common pro wrestling injuries in the wake of the latest lawsuit for WWE. Fad lawsuits like this one are why lawyers get a bad name.

CJ Parker talked about leaving NXT and his future. I like his ambition. I hope it pays off for him.

The new Dollhouse stable in TNA features Mia Yim as Jade and Marti Belle as, well, Marti Bell. Both have years of experience on the indie scene and have worked One Night Only PPVs. I look forward to seeing what they each add to TNA.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The 2016 Royal Rumble is set for Jan. 24 in Orlando, FL, while 2016's Fast Lane is set for Feb. 21 in St. Louis, MO. There's speculation the Royal Rumble will be moved so as to not go up against conference championship games in the NFL. That's probably a good idea!

Lillian Garcia confirmed her surgery was a success. It's going to be weird not hearing her while she recovers. I wish Justin Roberts would be able to fill in.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. C.M. Punk received his release papers via FedEx on his wedding day. He was still legally under contract until that time. So, yes, he was effectively fired on his wedding day.

2. The New Day actually joked about Kofi's chest in an interview not too long ago. I imagine he's OK with it, or at least understands it's part of the angle. A lot of B A Star is about how what people do on-screen is not who they are off-screen. Given what positive things Titus and Darren have done out of the ring, it's a non-issue.

3. There's no evidence he did blade. If WWE would fine HHH and Taker for doing a chair shot to the head, I'm pretty sure they'd fine Brock for blading.

4. If you're hoping for something like "he'll recruit (some combination of Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Samoa Joe, and Hideo Itami) as Paul Heyman guys", I don't see that happening. It's possible he picks up a new Heyman guy or two, but I think he might be MIA for a while until it's time to set up Brock's return. As much as I love Heyman, unless there's a really good pitch to keep him around, I think they can give him a break for a few months before bringing him back in the build to Summerslam.

5. I think there's a much lower chance we'd be seeing them if it wasn't for the big NFL lawsuit. The sharks smell blood in the water. As for their actual merit, I'd think they could be hard to prove.

More wrestling tomorrow.
