Interview with Kharma, live event notes, WWE vs. NFL, Angle update, NXT debut notes, Mysterio update, Y2J dates confirmed, top WWE name taking time off?, and Questions on Hall and Nash in WCW, Aksana, the finish to the 2005 Rumble, and TNA airing internationally

The former Kharma talked about potentially coming back to WWE and more. I'd LOVE to see her come back and wreck all the Total Divas-related stuff they have now. She could really be a top act in the company.

For the latest WWE live event in Malaysia, Adrian Neville retained the NXT Championship over Sami Zayn, Bo Dallas, and Sin Cara. Cara is one-half of the NXT Tag Team Champions, so that makes sense in a way. Also on the show, Sheamus was apparently fine after seeming to be injured the night before, and Kofi teamed with Big E as faces. No Xavier Woods, though. It's been so long since they've all three been on TV as a unit that it might as well have not happened.

WWE issued a survey on fans' viewing habits between WWE shows and football, notably if fans switch back-and-forth between the two, watch with others, record WWE for later in the week, etc.. The NFL has been a big competitor for WWE for years now.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Kurt Angle remains in negotiations with both WWE and TNA regarding his wrestling future. If he does return to WWE, he'll need to pass the necessary physical tests and could just be doing a part-time schedule. As much as I'd love to see Angle vs. Bryan, Angle vs. Cesaro, etc., there's no guarantee of it happening. He could easily end up staying in TNA if the two sides come to terms.

Carmella will have her first on-screen NXT match on this week's episode. I'm curious to see how well she does.

Finn Balor, the former Prince Devitt, will debut on the November 13 episode of NXT. I'm excited to see what he can do.

Rey Mysterio and WWE are still at odds about his contract status. Due to the time he's missed due to injury, his contract was renewed for another year without his approval. Mysterio appeared via video at AAA Triplemania, and has been backstage at Lucha Underground events, but can not legally wrestle outside of WWE until his contract is up. There have got to be some kind of legal ramifications for keeping him under contract when he wants to work elsewhere, but maybe WWE has something worked out where they're clear in the eyes of the law.

Chris Jericho will be working November 10 through 15 for WWE, including a Smackdown TV taping. This is shortly before another tour with Fozzy in the U.S.. It will be nice to see him make a cameo, and that's an added bonus for those in Europe.

Randy Orton is not listed for any events from November 11 until the December 21 Smackdown taping. Notably, this puts him out of Survivor Series and TLC. That's bad news for WWE, as he's one of the top names in the company. He deserves the break, though.

Update: There are rumors of him signing a contract to work fewer dates in the future, but Orton denied this on Twitter. Either way, WWE needs to get to work on building up some new top names.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I'm glad someone else caught that. They were paid more per appearance, and didn't have to worry as much about working a lot of live events like wrestlers do now.

2. I don't see anything about her working any matches since leaving WWE. I can't say the product has really suffered without her.

3. It definitely didn't go off as originally planned. Vince probably wishes he would have stayed in the back given what happened when he got in the ring. But WWE definitely wanted to protect both Batista and Cena at that event, in-line with what they were booking for WM21 and beyond.

4. I think as long as TNA provides content to those markets and doesn't get canceled there, they should be fine from a legal standpoint. I could see them doing tapings just for the international markets, and airing the shows on YouTube or something here if they don't get a new TV deal. It would be a big hit to them financially, but theoretically they can continue to survive in some form for a while longer.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
