MMA name now training to wrestle, Interview with Borash, WWE press, WWE tryout video, Cena not set for Raw, new WWE PPV name?, Steen's WWE name, and Questions on adult content in WWE, the Streak ending, tag team streeet fights, late WCW vs. current WWE, and WWE's schedule

Matthew Riddle, who after appearing on the Ultimate Fighter has competed for both UFC and Bellator with a record of 8-3, is now training to be a wrestler alongside his wife. I'm curious to see how they do. He's got his work cut out for him following the wrestling careers or lack thereof of King Mo and Rampage Jackson.

Jeremy Borash gave a long-form interview about the current state of TNA and more. I wouldn't assume the clock strikes midnight for them at the end of 2014, but they're definitely in a concerning place with no U.S. TV deal for next year.

Daniel Bryan, Stephanie McMahon, and Darren Young attended an anti-bullying rally. I hope we see Bryan and Darren Young in the ring sooner rather than later.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Hulk Hogan's appearance at Raw was profiled. I'm glad that cause is being promoted.

Here's footage of a recent WWE tryout. That was a pretty cool look at what it takes to impress the judges.

John Cena is not advertised for the next Raw taping, but Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are. Interesting. Another top name not on WWE TV doesn't bode well for them right now.

WWE has trademarked "WWE Fast Lane", which could be the PPV name to replace Elimination Chamber in February. That's not that great of a name, honestly. What exactly are they putting in the fast lane?

Kevin Steen has been renamed Kevin Owens in WWE. That's not a bad name at all. I hope he finds success with it.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think it'd be a good way for WWE to lose revenue from some of those PG companies. There's no guarantee they'd gain it back from other sponsors. Kids buy a lot more stuff than college students.

2. I think it was very gutsy and just might pay off. Taker going out on his back was a nice change of pace and fit in with the "changing of the guard" theme of the PPV that's been somewhat lost since then.

3. That's a good question. Maybe people want to settle things one-on-one to a degree for a time, or take a breather, etc..

4. I definitely see similarities. The same problems with a three-hour Nitro are present with a three-hour Raw. I wonder how long WWE can sustain the bubble of so much content in a week, all the rewrites, and so on.

Nothing to add to 5. They hit the nail on the head.

More wrestling tomorrow.
