Lucha royalty seeks WWE tryout, more on WWE's new policy, WWE PPV changing?, WWE name back from injury?, Orton takes a shot at Cena, WWE seeking trademarks, report from HIAC, and Questions on losing faith in talents, having the champ on every PPV, traditional Survivor Series matches, a Cruiserweight division, and seeing Punk wrestle again

Hijo del Santo was visiting with his son backstage at a recent NXT show, prompting speculation of seeking a tryout for his son. I'm sure WWE would love to tap further into the Latino market with Del Rio gone and Rey more or less out of commission.

WWE's updated stance on domestic abuse has been picked up by the Washington Post. I think that's a great policy for them to implement. Way to be proactive rather than reactive.

WWE could be rebranding the Elimination Chamber for 2015, possibly moving that match to the summer to build for a match at Summerslam. It's not a bad idea to change things up in that regard. The summer can be a downtime for WWE, but it doesn't have to be.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Ryback was reportedly spotted at Hell in a Cell. I hope WWE makes better use of him now.

Randy Orton took a shot at John Cena when asked about WWE selling more Orton merchandise. That was pretty good. Orton can be fun when WWE doesn't have him on a leash.

WWE has recently made a move to trademark "WCW" and "NWO New World Order". How do they not have those trademarks already? It must just be them renewing the license for them or something.

Here's a live fan report from Hell in a Cell. I'm very glad Ambrose vs. Rollins headlined. I hope it's the start of a trend of moving away from the people who main evented 10 years ago or more.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. The term "A.D.D. booking" comes to mind, where Management completely drops a talent from being pushed for seemingly no reason. Sometimes they just decide they want to push a different talent instead and the previous talent is left with nothing to do. It's definitely hurt the ability of talents to make money.

2. Generally I do think the title should be defended every PPV unless there's a compelling reason for the title to not be on the line or there's another, more important story than the WWE Title. I think the story with Brock as champion is fine for him not defending every PPV. He's being used as a legend like Taker or HHH who only wrestles on certain occasions. It would water down how special a Brock match is if he wrestled every month.

3. I think we'll see at least one traditional Survivor Series match. I highly doubt we'll see Team NXT vs. Team WWE, which might be a good thing. I imagine the NXT names would be squashed pretty quickly.

4. I do think the label Cruiserweight or X-Division can be limiting to a wrestler as far as potentially competing for the top prize. That said, some lower-card wrestlers can really thrive in that kind of environment. If it would mean consistent TV time for the likes of Sin Cara, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, etc. who aren't just jobbing to other names, I think I could get behind it.

5. I think a lot of it would depend on the infrastructure available. TNA only has so much of a platform and budget to use to promote someone like Punk, as there's quite a large group of fans who have no idea what TNA is. The number of fans who know ROH is even smaller. So, it would get them some attention, but wouldn't be as much of a game-changer as I think a lot of people would expect.

More wrestling tomorrow.
