WWE Network notes, Smackdown main event, Wyatts note, Interview with Matt Hardy, Dreamer update, Dinsmore on WWE exit, more WWE tryouts, former TNA name retires, and Questions on banning the DDT, quick title changes, and Raw guest hosts

WWE has issued a survey asking fans to rate current WWE Network shows, and is seeking ideas for new shows. Some of those sound pretty interesting. I'd like to see the fantasy matches show myself.

The advertised main event for the next Smackdown is John Cena and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins and Kane. That's a little underwhelming for the 15th anniversary of the show. All those men are talented, but I wish they had something bigger set.

The Wyatt Family are still advertised as working as a group for some upcoming live events. The card is always subject to change, though, so they might not all end up working together then.

Everything else from Friday is after the break.

Matt Hardy touched on his current work in TNA during an interview promoting an indy show. He'll be on TV pretty regularly on the shows taped past BFG. We'll see if he's part of TNA beyond that, but he sounds optimistic about continuing to work there.

Tommy Dreamer was hurt at the most recent Impact Wrestling tapings, but still plans to compete at Bound For Glory in Japan. It's tough to keep relying on older stars like Dreamer to take bumps in nostalgia angles.

Nick Dinsmore tweeted about his WWE release. He'd be a good pickup for any company that needs an experienced trainer.

William Regal will be evaluating wrestlers taking part in WWE tryouts this week in Brooklyn and Philadelphia. He's got an eye for talent.

In news that slipped under the radar for a few weeks, former TNA name Jesse Sorensen has officially retired from wrestling. I'm surprised he returned to the ring at all after the accident with the current DJ Z. I hope he succeeds in his other endeavors.

For my take on Friday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. DDT actually saved millions of lives from malaria, but was used in such high amounts that it had the effects listed. That's neither here nor there, though. There's less risk of injury than there is with a piledriver is the point.

2. I do think there's something to them continuing to shift the champion as an attempt to spark ratings. They certainly want to have the TV numbers high for getting a new deal (either with Spike or elsewhere). I don't think the title changes themselves are a sign of the company being about to go belly-up, but they could be doing quick title changes as a desperation move to get the audience numbers that will get them a better deal.

Nothing to add to 3. It's not an easy endeavor!

Nothing to add to 4.

5. The Muppets were pretty fun. Huck Jackman was great, too. I would have loved seeing Robert Englund as Freddy mash up with what WWE does, even if it was just a goofy segment with Santino. Other than Englund, the other members of Guardian of the Galaxy would have been fun. It's still doable, but I don't think it will happen.

More wrestling tomorrow.
