TNA roster note, Raw main event note, Interviews with Piper/Kim, Roberts on WWE release, huge honor for Stephanie, another Raw match set, and Questions on Rock's return, guest hosts, Brock Lesnar, Total Divas, and John Cena

In line with the current angle of him being fired by Ethan Carter III, TNA has removed Rockstar Spud from the roster on their website. He will reappear on upcoming episodes of Impact Wrestling. Of note, the TNA roster still contains Rhino despite him being fired in a similar fashion and not working for the company since his loss to EC3. Bully Ray, Devon, and Kurt Angle are featured despite their contracts expiring, so it's not like TNA's website is the best source for roster information.

Raw's main event of Cena and Ambrose vs. Kane, Rollins, and Orton has been made into a street fight. Should be good. I wonder if Kane will have a match at Hell in a Cell.

Roddy Piper talked about C.M. Punk walking out and more. While I understand Management wants to work with talents who are easier to deal with, there are reasons to support some of the people who rock the boat.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Justin Roberts thanked the fans and his coworkers for his career in WWE. Very classy guy. I hope he achieves whatever other dreams he has.

Update: Roberts applied to trademark his name in September, so he could have known his WWE tenure was coming to an end. GFW, ring this guy up.

Gail Kim talked about Dixie Carter going through a table and more. I think she's a fine choice as the first female in the TNA Hall of Fame. The only other names I could think of as being competition are So Cal Val and Traci Brooks, and neither of them are in TNA anymore.

Stephanie McMahon was given the prestigious honor of being named an Eisenhower Fellow. That's incredibly impressive! I think the Stephanie Era is just beginning in WWE in many ways.

Paige and Alicia Fox vs. AJ Lee and a partner has been set for Raw. Meh. Unless they're building to some sort of big Divas' tag match at Survivor Series (Team AJ vs. Team Paige), I'm ready for this one to wrap up.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Rock got to use his charisma like few people on the main roster can now. I think the business needs less of Creative carefully crafting a character's every nuance and more of the talents using the tools they have to show what they've got.

2. WWE hasn't been synonymous professional wrestling in a LONG time. There are times when the two overlap, but ultimately it's sports entertainment. Occasionally that means more in the lines of variety show "entertainment" than the sports. I hate it at times, too, but it's not going to change unless people turn the channel during those segments and that kind of thing.

3. I'm a huge fan of Brock Lesnar as a talent. I think his victories over The Undertaker and John Cena have shaken up wrestling in a way it hasn't been shaken up in a long time. I also think he'd be more than content to live out the rest of his life completely outside the spotlight of being WWE Champion. The concerns you bring up are valid, but I think this is an incredible storyline. If it ends with Daniel Bryan returning to conquer the beast, I think more people will agree.

4. Reality shows are heavily produced and edited to create an outcome favorable to the story the creators want to tell. It's a work people are still falling for in a way they don't fall for wrestling anymore.

5. WWE is going to milk John Cena as long as he still draws as a top babyface. If fans want to see Seth Rollins succeed, they should buy Seth Rollins merchandise and pay for the WWE Network to see Seth Rollins PPV matches.

More wrestling tomorrow.
