Interviews with Cesaro/Cena/Chyna, big meeting for Jeff Jarrett, Mysterio update, Puerto Rican name to WWE?, GFW TV update, Impact audience, TNA announcer to GFW?, Del Rio situation update, matches set for next NXT special, and Questions on AJ vs. Paige, Rose's push, Foley books, and Hogan vs. Brody

Cesaro talked about his time so far in WWE and more. He's a very versatile talent. I hope WWE continues to add talents who have honed their craft in a number of different markets.

Jeff Jarrett recently met with ROH president Joe Koff. There's speculation the two parties discussed whether ROH talents can work the GFW-promoted NJPW show on January 4. I definitely think it'd be a solid boost for GFW and ROH if the two sides can work together. Wrestlers having more places to make a payday and more diverse opponents to work with is a good thing for the business.

John Cena talked about being a merch machine, not turning heel, and more. He has a really amazing work ethic that transcends what goes on in the "wrestling" aspect of the company.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Despite reports to the contrary, as of this writing, Rey Mysterio remains under contract to WWE. There doesn't seem to be any movement on that front from WWE's side. It's possible he does have to wait until sometime next year before he can work AAA or elsewhere, which would be really unfortunate for him and those wanting to book him.

Chyna discussed a number of personal issues in relation to Stephanie McMahon and WWE in a recent video. I don't see it as very constructive to post the video here given the nature of the content. I wish her the best with her life going forward and hope WWE never has to use the new domestic violence policy.

Puerto Rican talent Atlas (formerly Sebastian Guerra) has teased coming to WWE after their taking part in their most recent tryouts. I can't find much of a history of him as a wrestler, though he's only 25, so maybe WWE wants to mold him while he's still pretty young.

GFW is shopping around Las Vegas for venues to potentially have TV tapings and live events. Of course, they have to have TV clearance and talents to actually have shows, but things are still in the works for them. I hope GFW makes a splash in 2015.

The viewership for Wednesday's episode of Impact Wrestling was 1.07 million. That's a jump from the previous week, but still not terribly impressive. It will be interesting to see what their TV situation is come 2015. The future of TNA is in many ways in the balance now.

There are rumors of GFW seeking Jim Ross and/or Mike Tenay to call the GFW-distributed NJPW Tokyo Dome show on January 4. That second name is very interesting. The fact he's even being considered says a lot about the perception of TNA's future. It's possible his contract expires before then, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that. I strongly doubt TNA would let him call the show while still employed by them.

The employee at the center of the controversy leading to WWE releasing Alberto Del Rio left the company earlier this month. It's a real shame the whole thing happened, because WWE lost a really talented performer. Del Rio and this employee were both partially at fault here, and I wish it had gone down very differently.

The following matches are set for NXT Takeover: Our Evolution on December 11:
- NXT Women's Championship: Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks
- The Ascension vs. Hideo Itami and Finn Balor
- NXT Championship vs. NXT career: Adrian Neville vs. Sami Zayn

I think those matches will be the NXT sendoffs for The Ascension and Zayn, as they head to the main roster. I'm excited for their futures!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I definitely think WWE is running the feud into the ground, which is a shame given how talented the two of them are. I hope they wrap it up with a Team AJ vs. Team Paige match at Survivor Series. Otherwise, I don't see much of a point in continuing the feud unless they combine it with the Brie/Nikki stuff. I hope neither feud makes it past Survivor Series, but I wouldn't be surprised if it continues to be dragged out. A lot of times, WWE shows feel like promotional vehicles for other shows, merchandise, sponsors, etc. than wrestling programs. It's hard to sit through parts of it at times.

2. The rumor going around is Vince isn't a fan of the character and killed its push. There's also possibly the belief it didn't get over like they wanted it to. Either way, it's a shame. I think the character was doing good stuff (even if it was silly at times) and adding The Bunny as a wrestler shook things up.

3. I don't know how much he really has left to write about for the time being. His tour is probably enough for now, and without the WWE hype machine, I don't know how many books he could really move.

4. That could have been awesome! It's fun to play "what if" sometimes.

Nothing to add to 5.

More wrestling tomorrow.
