Main Event Reax - 10/28/14, Interviews with AJ/Dolph/Hogan/Striker, NXT stars talk Halloween, NXT injury update, Bully teaser, Angle contract update, Reigns update, Punk correction, Raw audience, Del Rio update, more on lawsuit, Bryan update, and Questions on a new Wyatt Family, Summerslam 2015, the Network, and Vince's booking

Main Event:
I liked the opening segment, but wasn't it supposed to be about Mark Henry turning on Big Show? WWE booking can be quite haphazard these days.

Good match for those two teams. The angle continues.

I enjoyed Paige vs. Natalya. It's nice to see Paige doing something different for the time being. I hope she continues to develop a separate identity from AJ.

I liked Bo's promo. It's good for him to want to be part of the main event of a major PPV.

Fine main event for keeping Sheamus' momentum going.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

AJ Lee talked to Marvel about feuding with Paige and more. I really like Paige and AJ; I'm just ready to see them do different things.

A number of NXT talents looked at their past Halloween costumes. No Enzo Amore?

WWE has trademarked the name "Slayomi" for a character, which sounds like a Halloween-themed or otherwise nickname for Naomi. If she had a more in-depth gimmick, I think she could go places.

Dolph Ziggler talked ahead of an international WWE tour. I hope he's in for a push now that he's teaming with Cena on-screen.

NXT's Mojo Rawley recently underwent shoulder surgery. I'm interested to see how things go for him from here. He definitely doesn't fit in the stereotypical "former indie wrestler" mold of NXT.

Hulk Hogan talked about a potential match with Stone Cold. It ain't happening. I wouldn't be surprised if he just brought it up to get attention to the interview.

Bully Ray put out a Tweet that has some on the Internet speculating on a WWE return. I wouldn't count on it. NJPW might be a more realistic choice.

Matt Striker talked about life after WWE and more. I'm curious to see how Lucha Underground does. It's always good to have some new options for people to find work in.

Kurt Angle is expected to sign a new part-time deal with TNA soon. This would allow him to pursue acting in what could very well be his last year as a wrestler. He had conversations with WWE, but they were only interested in having him work as a full-time member of the roster. Given how many other part-timers they have these days, I don't see why Angle should be the exception. They could almost definitely draw money from one last Angle run. Either way, TNA should make the most of Angle in their uncertain future. He only has a few big matches left.

Roman Reigns is expected back in the ring either in late December or early January. I'm sure WWE would love to have him back for the Rumble.

Update: Reigns is advertised for some live events after Christmas. Hopefully things heat up for Rumble and Mania season, because the roster's running a little low on top names right now.

WWE and C.M. Punk have come to an agreement for the company to sell off their remaining Punk merchandise, and for him to appear in WWE 2K15. The Punk merchandise was already made, and the video game was too far in development to really change when he walked out. So, this isn't especially groundbreaking and definitely not a sign of him signing any kind of new deal to return. Punk remains retired.

Raw's audience Monday was 3.75 million viewers, up slightly from last week. For the show following a big PPV, that's not good. They certainly lost audience to the big NFL game that night, but that's only part of the story.

The former Alberto Del Rio will be doing a Youshoot interview. That's pretty big. I hope Ricardo's along for the ride.

The Oregonian picked up the Billy Jack Haynes-WWE lawsuit. I wonder how far it actually goes.

Big Show announced at the most recent Smackdown taping that Daniel Bryan will have to undergo surgery on his arm. That's a damn shame. I hope he can recover and still have an awesome career.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I was hopeful for that in a way, but I'd rather him be pushed as a top solo act than be paired with some acts who are still finding their way.

2. That's a good question! My guess is they already have a deal in place with the people at Metlife.

3. Adults have the credit cards, but they buy what their kids want with them. Who do you think buys all that Cena merch? You'd think the hardcore fans would salivate at having NXT, PPVs, and all that other wrestling for $9.99 a month. Is Creative really not even one-fourth as good as when people paid $40 a month? This is ludicrous.

4. I can see why WWE prioritizes content the way they do. They're not perfect in that regard, but some things really don't have that big of a potential audience.

5. Vince listens to fans who contribute to the bottom line of WWE. If the fans who want to see Ambrose and Rollins buy merch for those two and actually pay for the Network instead of streaming PPVs for free, WWE will be more willing to push those names.

More wrestling tomorrow.
