WWE Tribute to the Troops will be on 12/22.
David Otunga will appear on the 11/4 episode of Oprah's Life Class. I can see him being the next Miz if he improves in the ring.
Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez vs. Daniels and Kazarian has been added to TNA Turning Point. Fine by me.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Big Show talked about the Attitude Era and more. Punk vs. Rock on the mic will be EPIC.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. From a storyline perspective, I'm totally down with Jarrett being the leader because all the pieces fit and he still has "it" (at least from the last time we saw him). The only thing I don't like is that Jarrett vs. Hogan was done 12 years ago and it really makes it look like the business is stuck in that era and can't build any new stars. That said, the rumored talent list could inject TNA with some new life.
Nothing to add to 2, other than Cena's still "the guy" WWE will push.
3. It's neat to look at, but not something I give a lot of credibility to.
4. There's also the fact that Raw went to 3 hours. Cena was still booked as the top guy in main events and the viewer was basically told that he was more important than Punk, so I'm not surprised that there hasn't been as much of a change as a lot of us would like. It could be that some people haven't warmed up to Punk as much as the IWC has. Cena's got YEARS of WWE hype behind him.
5. To me, they should stick with guys who have been aligned with Heyman in the past (Show would qualify). They don't want to dilute the concept by putting in guys like 3MB. That's part of what killed the nWo's credibility. Punk, Show, and Lesnar would be a pretty sick team at any rate. They could even throw in Taker (Mean Mark Callous, anyone?) but whoever faced him would lose at Mania, so there's not the kind of payoff that usually happens at that show. Of course, a lot of that relies on part-timers and older stars. For their opposition, maybe Cena, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, and Kane?
More wrestling tomorrow!
